About Me

Kylie is a 15 year old 5'8" freshman with a 22" vertical in the spring of 2009.  She has been a gym rat since birth with her mother being a varsity basketball coach/PE teacher.  She started attending camps at age 5 at Oklahoma State University and Moberly Junior College camps.  She has played organized games since age 8.  She has played in over 200?? games over the last several years at various levels at all positions. She has played for the Missouri Jaguars for the last 4 years playing at an elite level with her team.  The Jaguars have won several tournaments and leagues over the last 4 years.

Kylie's strenghts are her jumping ability, quickness, muscular strength, coachability, and athletism.  She shoots a true jump shot from 2 and 3 point range using proper form,  rebounds well, has strong fundamentals while continuing to work on her ball handling skills.  She is a team player that plays hard giving 100%.  She works not only with her select team but also her high school coaches, individual strength coach -- Cornell Robinson, and individual basketball skills with Erin Pauk -- University of IL- Carbondale's (07). 

As a Freshman she played on the Fort Zumwalt West High School Junior Varsity team that went 24 - 1 losing to St. Joesph Acad of St. Louis - a power house every year.  She also was moved up to the varsity team and played with their state quarterfinal team that lost 4 games -- losing their final game to Hazelwood Central of St Louis who placed 3rd in the MO State Final Four.

Kylie is a 3 sport athlete, playing JV fall volleyball and  running varsity track where she competed in the sectional track meet with a PR of 5'2" in the high jump for the season. She was named to the Gateway Athletic conference second team in track.  She is a member of the National Honor Society as a transfer freshman and also an All Conference All Academic basketball selection. She has plans to take her first ACT test in June of 09.
